Accessible Cabins

Lake Hope makes it possible for travelers of varying abilities to enjoy a cozy cabin stay and the great outdoors. Our accessible cabins are ADA-modified and comfortably sleep up to five guests.

Wildlife

The Wildlife accessible cabins at Lake Hope offer ADA-modified features, aiming to make travel inclusive for all. The cabins feature two bedrooms—one with a full bed and the other with a bunk bed and twin bed—and outdoor access to a porch, grill, and fire ring. The bathroom features a roll-in shower and a roll-under sink.

Hiking

With more than 17 miles of hiking trails, you can wind through the scenic woodland and along the lakeshore at your own pace, exploring the unique beauty only found at Lake Hope.

Birding

The park is home to over 120 bird species, a haven for bird watchers. Apart from the self-guided trails, you can also join a guided group tour or even nighttime owl walks at certain times of the year.

Bicycling

From a leisurely ride on flat ground to a blood-pumping rush on steep inclines and over sharp turns, the bike trails offer beautiful sights and memories for riders of all skill levels.

Boating

Soak in the sunshine as you cruise around Lake Hope. Boats with electric motors only are allowed on the lake; otherwise, you can also rent a canoe or rowboat mid-May through October.

Swimming

Go for a swim near the dam at Lake Hope. To make your experience easier, showers, restrooms, changing booths, and a concession area are located at nearby facilities.

Fishing

Fish for bluegill, catfish, and more in Lake Hope, or smallmouth and rock bass in its numerous streams. Shore, boat, and bowfishing are allowed so long as you have a valid Ohio Fishing License.
